”You've been enriching my life in ways I didn’t even know I needed, and my work has never been better either. You bring the best out in me in every possible way.”

The Best Kind of Mistake by Jasmin Miller is a super adorable novella about a sexy photographer and a pink haired gal who is struggling to pay her bills and rent. This is my second book of Jasmin’s that I’ve read. You can check out my review for her other novel, Baking With A Rockstar here!

Ember Keaton is a quirky pink haired gal who is struggling to make ends meet. Basically, adulting is hard which I can totally relate too. Her sister hooks her up with a job as a photography assistant, something which she had developed a bit of an interest in, so it ended up being a perfect position. Even better, her boss (who seemed to be the loud, sex-crazed neighbour of hers) is crazy attractive, and the tension between the two of them is intense. The attraction makes working together as photographer and assistant a little difficult since they end up in some tight little situations together.

Logan Ardennes is a world renown fashion photographer who pretty much becomes smitten with Ember the second she shows up at the studio and is told she’ll be his assistant. He’s a family man, who cares deeply for those he loves and has a strong desire to travel. He is super loveable, and even though the book is a quick read, you really learn to love him.

”Do you feel this? Every time I see you, every time I’m around you, or fuck, even every time I just think about you, my heart knows that I’m crazy about you in the best possible way. It’s known all along I’d fall in love with you so badly that it would immediately realize you’re it for me. You’re my forever, and I want you by my side when we explore the world together.”

I had to keep reminding myself this was a novella, and only would take an hour to read because at moments I felt the story was happening a little quickly. However, when I reminded myself it was a novella, and it was meant to be short and sweet, I’d quickly get over it. I’m definitely a fan of Jasmin’s writing, and highly recommend her work to romance lovers!

The Best Kind of Mistake by Jasmin Miller is a short read packed with steam, humor, and super sweet swoony moments. I’m not usually a fan of novellas due to the fact that I sometimes find it difficult connecting with the story and the characters over so few pages, but Jasmin Miller manages to do a fantastic job overcoming this. This is the second book I have read by Jasmin Miller and I have found that she has a very clean, crisp and authentic style of writing which makes the flow of the story effortless. Her comedic timing is flawless and you find yourself giggling along throughout the story.

Logan & Ember's story is an endearingly sweet one that was so enjoyable. Their chemistry and attraction is immediate and as they spend more with each other they find out they work really well together and they have a lot in common. Add in the sexual tension as well and these two are unable to resist each other for very long!

This novella was a quick and fun read. I enjoyed it immensely and it's the perfect length with enough excitement making it an absolute pleasure to read.

Another wonderful story written by Jasmin! I first fell in love with Jasmin’s writing in her book, Baking With a Rockstar, so when I saw this novella coming out, I jumped at the opportunity to read it! Thank you so much for providing me with an ARC of this novella. I truly appreciate it!

This was a fun, sweet and quick read that’s a great pick me up and make you smile and feel good kind of story.

I love Ember and Logan and the way they met really was the best kind of mistake! This novella made me smile and giggle so many times and it just makes you feel good inside!

I was so happy when Ember and Logan got their HEA! Not gonna lie, I totally did a little happy dance! Yay!!!

I definitely recommend this sweet and happy novella

Jasmin has once again brought a sweet and funny love story to life. Ember is a little eccentric and in need of a job and Logan’s mom hires Ember to be Logan’s photography assistant as he helps his mom out while she can’t work.
There is a case of mistaken identity, some thick sexual tension they try to ignore and once they give in the sweetest insta love that will make you swoon.

I love office/work romance because the sexual tension is just unbelievable. This book is no exception. It was adorable and sweet. I wish it was longer and not a novella because I felt like it was not enough and I need more!! That's the only reason why it's three & half stars.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
