This book and its predecessor were both entertaining and I plan to read the third when it comes out if just because I am still unsure where the whole thing is going. While I enjoyed this book, I found it hadany of the same issues as the first, though perhaps even amplified a bit. The writing style is overly pretentious and the plot is confusing yet also kinda nonexistent. A lot happened in this book and yet I feel like very little actually happened. There are so many characters and timelines and the way the book jumps back and forth out of chronological order gets confusing at times. I think the biggest strength of this series is the magic system and world building and I would have liked to see those expanded upon more. I'm hoping the third installment ties the loose ends up nicely and brings a clearer message to the series as I am left confused about what I am supposed to take away from this or why I should care about the characters.

While I would say I merely enjoyed "The Atlas Six", I LOVED the sequel.
The main problem I had with the first book was the limited time we spent in each character's head space, but now that we are familiar with each of the characters, their powers, and their motivations, it was a lot easier to keep track of who was who and who was doing what in the story. Dark Academia, Magic, and Morally Gray characters are always a winning combination for me and this book delivers. I am now eagerly waiting for book 3- I need more Nico in my life ASAP.

5 out of 5 fucking stars that was a fucking EXPERIENCE
Chmura's art was breathtaking, the way Olivie made the character's voices shine through in their pov's was masterful and by god the PROSE!! THE ALLIANCES!! THE PLOTTWISTS!! THE CHARACTERS!! INCREDIBLE????
anyone who's ever spoken to me for more than 5 minutes knows how much I love The Atlas Six, and I can confidently tell you that The Atlas Paradox is a sequel WORTHY of that love.
also my sanity is in shambles.

this book was a lot less exciting than i thought it would be which might be the biggest L i have ever taken in my life. i am hoping the atlas complex saves me. i dont wanna be mean because i love the authour and i loved loved LOVED the first book so much and it really did a lot for me, however i have to be honest that this book fell a little flat for me. i am gonna hope the next one is a banger and knocks it out of the park
