Setup Was far fetched in a lazy way. There’s a difference between suspending belief for fictions sake and Lazy creativity. This is a moc where H was jilted and in love with Ow. Fmc ihas used up Her trust fund to keep her comatose mother alive. H is still hung up on former fiancé. After h serves him
Divorce papers he realizes he is in love with her.

⭐️3.25 The book started out great. I liked the heroine at first who did not do dump shit while she was the one asking others for help and favor. She was strong calm and chill. Emotionally stable when drama hits. However the plot was just predictable and would be better with some refinements. Like what happened to Elise eventually, did Matthew and Dad really do not car a bit of Sarah even after living together for so many years, what was Grandpa’s name, why Jennifer’s transformation happened so quickly, etc.
