Started this as a silly silly joke, then somehow got roped in??? Extremely goofy, kind of cringe, but satisfying. Better than any of the covers make it seem, and also less graphic. Dare I say -  it's a dark romance with heart, and I am intrigued.

 Hoping the other books in the series are good cause so far I don’t really see the appeal. Like sure maybe the fantasy of killing your rapist is the appeal but those scenes are sometimes more detailed than the sex scenes and I’m not into that

God. I was giggling so hard for Lana. This plot was excellent, just chef’s kiss and this is only the first book and I want to keep reading HOWEVER I want to enjoy it which is why I’m going slow so I can enjoy it more as much as I want to read the next book after that cliffhanger. It did feel a bit slow in the beginning which is another reason why I couldn’t pick it up which now I regret but the only real complaint about this is how fast the couple got together but other than that I enjoyed it.
