I loved the plot so much but the writing is just repetitive and not for me. I gave it a good effort however, I must move along to something different.

I enjoyed this far more than I expected to.

The world building was spot on- it gave us enough to know who everyone was and what was happening without completely overloading us with information.

Hermes is my favourite character so far, and I can’t wait to see how Saffron grows as a character. I enjoyed the inclusion of Hades and Persephone as well

I was a little nervous to start Ichor. It’s not the typical genre I read but I saw a TikTok of Trish D.W. It looked so good so I bought it. This book had me captivated by page 1 it was so good. As the book goes on it just gets better. There wasn’t a time when I was reading that I felt disappointed in it. Ichor is very well written and an impressive vocabulary. I couldn’t get enough of Ichor and I cannot wait to see what Horkos has in store.

Wow, I definitely found a new favorite author after reading this book and refuse to believe this is her debut novel. Highly recommend for fans of Scarlett St. Clair or Greek mythology or hell, even if you’re not!

This was such a fresh take on the mythology genre and I fell in love with Hermes, I’ve only read books in which he is a side character and I’m so glad we saw this depiction as one of the love interests. There is friends-to-lovers, enemies-to-lovers, found family, intrigue and a well-written plot.

I will be impatiently awaiting the arrive for Horkos- book two in the series since this ended in a cliffhanger.

I'm intrigued by this story. I love retellings and stories based on mythology. I really enjoyed the first book and am ready to continue the series.
