I'm intrigued by this story. I love retellings and stories based on mythology. I really enjoyed the first book and am ready to continue the series.

Phenomenal. Ichor is now my new favourite book! It has set the bar.
"Percy Jackson for adults" pretty much sums it up!

Ichor ticked all the boxes for a step into an Ancient Greek Mythology telling. There are some dark elements to the story so please read the TWs if you need to.
Trish really did a service to many Gods and Goddesses that aren't as commonly named in other Mythological stories and did not disappoint with the way she blended her knowledge into her story. The chapters are relatively short and all flow easily into each other.

Humans when they turn 18, stand before the Gods who rule their dystopian earth as property to be claimed through battles to do whatever they please with. I was HOOKED from chapter 1. I was gasping, kicking my feet, crying and shaking my Kobo around the entire time. The writing style and language used is very much in line with what one would expect.

I enjoyed this far more than I expected to.

The world building was spot on- it gave us enough to know who everyone was and what was happening without completely overloading us with information.

Hermes is my favourite character so far, and I can’t wait to see how Saffron grows as a character. I enjoyed the inclusion of Hades and Persephone as well

This book was captivating. Even though it took me awhile to read it, I was determined to know its’ ending. This book is full of great characters with their own uniqueness and a plot that not only captivated me but also made my heart shatter and soar within its’ depths.

Greek mythology retellings have me in a CHOKEHOLD. As sweet as Hermes is, my vote is on Ares. I wanted to give this 4 stars for the last 3/4 of the book but I had to keep in mind the first half and the lack of plot

Wow, this book took me by complete surprise and I absolutely loved the concept and the world building. Trish did an amazing job at keeping us on our toes while reintroducing us to our favorite greek gods and godesses. If you love mythology then this is the series for you.
