Liked this continuation and how it picked up where book 1 left off. Can't wait for book 3!

This is the second book in the series, however, I read this as a standalone. It is definitely doable to read this as a standalone but it did take me a little more time to grasp the plot as there are many characters that obviously do not get introduced. I did really enjoy this book. This book is about some people who are living on St. Johns and after two people die in a helicopter crash, many things happen. New relationships are formed, the FBI comes into play. It was a classic Elin book, very easy to read. It had my attention the entire time. Although, I must say that Rosie's letters did kind of interrupt the story for me which is a reason for me to not rate this book any higher. But I am really excited to read some more of her books during this holiday.

Great part 2 of this series. Hilderbrand did a nice job of reminding the reader how plot points carry through and connect without being too repetitive. I was excited to get to the third book quickly after finishing this one.
