This book brought out so much potential but it turned out to be a really big mess.
The ending especially left a bad taste. I did not like the cliche in the plot resolve.
In truth I would have loved to read about the things being mentioned in the last chapter in more detail and again I am left agitated by the wrap up of the book..

Oh Anita, what is going on with you?
And, enough with the sound effects! I do not need to hear bones breaking. If the author does a good enough job writing the violence you shouldn't need sound effects to go along with it.

I’m glad that Richard and Anita have made up.
I also like all these other bonds that Anita is forming, it’ll be interesting to see where it’ll go.
I absolutely love how Anita is with caring for the wereleopards. I just want to wrap them all up in a hug and not let go.
I’m confused with the end saying she’s left the pack. Like I don’t think Richard is going to replace her so..time to read the next book.

This was sure a different Anita than we'd seen. But in a good way. She can't always be tough. I love Anita's fierceness, what she wants she gets. I'm glad she has worked it out with Richard. I was very disappointed to see them break up. Can't wait to start the next book, which make take some time!
