I wanted to like this book, it started out great and then kinda got Boring. I did want to find out about what happened so I kept reading but didn’t enjoy the way it’s written. Probably won’t read anything else from the author. Deff not in this series anyway.

Another good Gamache book. Little towns hold so many secrets. Unfortunately this one involves one of my favorite characters cast into not such a good light.

Stunnung, psychological. Her best so far.
Still, once and a while, a glaring inaccuracy or gap in her world vision as in the line, “No one is born a tramp.” when, at least in the United States, a large percentage of our homeless population IS children. That line appears to put personal responsibility on the systemic and societal failing that is poverty and homelessness.
