A little slower to get into, despite the ominous beginning. Sometimes the cast of characters gets a little hard to manage ( who is this now, where are they, what's their role), but it was interesting to see more people beyond Raksura for a greater part of the book. And then that cliffhanger ending!!

My least favorite in the series so far. Nothing really interesting happens in the main adventure. Then a bunch of crazy stuff happens in the last 2-3 chapters that’s pretty much just set up for the next book.

Cliff-hanger!!!!

This one dragged on a bit in places. As much as I enjoyed the expansion of the world and the addition of new species and peoples the meandering over going or staying and the endless listing of who was going with whom every time the group split up was boring.

Now I don't know if I should break my tradition of not reading all series books in a row...
