The story itself is solid, the Dutch translation I read just made some...odd decisions, such as randomly changing character's names around.

Me dio mucha rabia.

As a child this was one of my favourite films but didn’t even realise it was a book until my mid twenties! Well the book is just as charming as the film and I thoroughly enjoyed it! I love how it’s like flipped to being the humans are the ones who don’t understand and are actually the pets. I thought was a cute take on the story!

This was really a great book that was lots of fun to read. You would think this is a book for younger kids, and it kind-of is, but there are a couple words that might give younger kids some trouble. It is definitely interesting, especially because the Disney story is so different, but runs along the same lines. I would say this book is aimed at 8-10 year olds, but someone as old as 13 or 14 might enjoy it as well.
