Callie is finally going home for Thanksgiving after 6 years of being unable to with college and work. She is quirky, a bookworm, and definitely needs a love life. She is curvy, loves potato chips, and has a massive crush on her brother's best friend, Adam, who happens to be coming to Thanksgiving.

This story gets awkward as she arrives home to find more than she bargained for. I like that we get Adam's pov, so I don't just assume he is a mindless male in the story. Adam's signals are slightly confusing, and I feel bad for Callie. But damn, the man can talk dirty. This book gets steamy as Adam makes the first moves.

I loved that Adam makes the grand gesture, and the characters stay true to themselves in the book. The author hinted at a jealousy thing early on and then abandoned it without explanation, but we eventually get the answer.

The book ends sweet and nerdy I love that the main character is a bookworm, and the guy doesn't care as long as she doesn't change, even though he is a catch. A lovely holiday read from fling to forever

"I worried growing up would change you, would make you into someone different than who I knew all my life. But you're the same girl, Callie. Just with a little more life experience and a slight potato chip addiction." -Adam

I really enjoyed this book and loved Callie and Adams story. I love that Callie is such a relatable character; a bookworm who is curvy, loves chips & is into fandom/books. Adams character was really easy to swoon over, the whole brother's best friend is becoming one of my favorite tropes, so I just ate this up. I love the sneakiness, the coming to terms with how they've always felt & then the effort that Adam puts in to show her how he feels & make her, his.

I do wish we would've had a little more but overall it was a great story. If you are looking for a brothers best friend, insta-love, relatable FMC, quick and spicy read than I recommend reading this.

Really enjoyed this book! Cozy and romantic. Callie is completely relatable which makes the story so much better. From her love of junk food, books to how she stress eats like so many of us. Then the childhood crush turns to live with seemingly prefect Adam. Prefect cozy fall read for November

2.8/5 ⭐️- Super quick, easy, smutty, one-sitting read. I found myself relating to the FMC, Callie, in so many ways.

I did not like the male lead character. I didn't like that he had a girlfriend but was flirting with and getting physical with the female main character. He completely got on my nerves. This was a novella so that's the reason I made it as far as I did.

Okay this was surprisingly adorable and spicy. I did not know I would enjoy a thanksgiving novella but I loved it.
