There was a fair amount of predictability but overall I enjoyed the ride, closer to 4 star than 3 but more 3.5ish.
Sasha Riggs is an artist with visions, literally, she paints these visions and this has led to a successful career. Now she's drawn to Corfu, with a bundle of sketches of people she believes are important, people she's never met but she's dreamed about, particularly one, Bran Killian an Irish Magician. Four other people are drawn to the island four other people from her sketches. The six of them have to find 3 stars and defeat evil over a trilogy of books.
Now it's Nora Roberts so you know, or you should know that with six people that's three couples and one per book and developing relationships between the group throughout but things aren't always straightforward and easy for each couple and there will be a bumpy road while people deal with their own stuff. I loved Sasha and how she decided to become stronger and not let others just fight for her and how she became a leader and kicked butt when it was necessary.
I enjoyed it.

Had the entire book been written like the prologue I don’t think I could have finished this book. Thankfully it is not.
My first Nora Roberts read and I enjoyed it. Loved the supernatural elements and wishing I could experience the Greek Isles like the team...exotic location, gorgeous villa, beautiful scenery & beaches. I’d definitely loved to finish the series to find out what new adventures the 6 main characters get themselves into. Also, I hope to find out more about the background of the team. Each brings their own unique set of skills and history.

Das Cover finde ich traumhaft schön und auch wenn es eigentlich relativ simpel gehalten ist, passt es doch perfekt zur Geschichte. Meiner Meinung nach ist es definitiv ein Hingucker.
Die Autorin Nora Roberts hat mit 'Sternenregen' mal wieder ihr außergewöhnlich großes Talent unter Beweis gestellt. Die Spannungskurve baut sich ins Unermessliche auf und die unerwarteten Wendungen lassen den Leser sprachlos zurück. Ich habe das Buch sozusagen inhaliert. Egal wie sehr man danach Ausschau hält, man findet einfach keine langweiligen oder langatmigen Szenen.
Die extrem spannende Mischung aus Fantasy, Mythologie und Romanze fand ich einfach klasse. Auch die Weltenbildung wurde wieder bis ins kleinste Detail durchgeplant und als Leser habe ich mir jeden noch so kleinen Winkel vorstellen können. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl in der Geschichte und ich bin überzeugt davon, dass ihr das Buch lesen müsst.
Man könnte meinen, dass die vielen Charaktere auf Dauer verwirrend sein müssten, aber jeder einzelne spielt eine wichtige Rolle und wird damit unabdingbar. Noch dazu wurde jeder Charakter sehr gut durchdacht.
Sasha - die Protagonistin - war mir auf Anhieb sympathisch und ich habe sie direkt ins Herz geschlossen. Sie wächst stetig an ihrem Abenteuer und beweist unglaublichen Mut und Stärke.
Auf die anderen Charaktere möchte ich jetzt gar nicht sonderlich eingehen, denn ich möchte schließlich nicht zu viel verraten. Sie alle haben ihre Stärken und Schwächen und ihr müsst sie unbedingt kennenlernen!
'Sternenregen' von Nora Roberts hat einfach alles was das Leserherz begehrt. Spannung, Fantasie, Gefühle, Action. Einfach ganz großes Kino und damit ein absolutes Highlight mit Suchtgefahr. Ich bin schon irre gespannt, was mich in Band 2 erwarten wird!
Den Auftakt der Sternen-Trilogie kann ich euch jedenfalls nur wärmstens empfehlen. Lest es und begleitet die wundervolle Sasha auf ihrem wilden Abenteuer.

Man I really wanted to love this one! It was just ok. I probably won't finish out the trilogy. I've said it before but I think I've just outgrown Nora Roberts. None of her stuff wows me anymore yet I still keep picking them up!

Another amazing trilogy
I'm a sucker for a Nora Robert's trilogy but none have grabbed me like this one. This group of six come together in a seamless way that naturally leads to a quest. I can't wait to read the other two stories.
