I’m a sucker for a romance books, but this wasn’t it for me. This felt too much like a book justifying cheating in relationships. There were also definitely parts that dragged on and I skipped over. Too much unnecessary fluff.

SpoilerI don’t like it when books lowkey advocate cheating in relationships. The whole time Hannah was in Paris felt like they were trying to come up with reasons when cheating would be okay. I understand that she was discovering more and more about herself as the day goes by, but it will never justify cheating. When she met with Si, I felt like she was too harsh on him; like she was just looking for a reason to break up with him. I understand she was looking for someone who understood her, but she didn’t even communicate properly that she wasn’t feeling heard. They didn’t have a proper discussion about it. It was just an argument that was brought up and never properly discussed among the two.

A very enjoyable, romatic read. Perfect for holidays etc!

I loved following Hannahs story. Though a bit unrealistic (how many times do you get seperated from your travelling partner, then jolly around a city with a stranger to killl time)... it was fluently written, and enjoyable to read. Not quite as predixtable as the story is suggestive of either with a twist and turn towards the end.

But the underlying attitude, of being yourself, choosing the path you want to take, and being honest with those around you, gives a truthful moral guide tonthe story as well as being enjoyable.

Hannah's development in this book truly gave me the feeling of being a proud parent and I fell in love with Leo straight away, even with his grumpy first impression. A fun and quick read.
