3.5 rounded up? Maybe a 4. This is the first just romance book I’ve ever read and it was pretty good! Not my go to choice for genres, but I think I liked this one because of the character growth of everyone in the story. There were a lot of tropes that made the story predictable, but that wasn’t necessarily bad. I liked the texting parts of the story, it made it light and fun imo

BRB crying.

If Julia Whelan needed to update her narrating resume, this was it. She wrote/narrated with so much emotion, range, joy, voice/accents, etc., and the plot and characters are also great on top of that. What?? It's a masterpiece of an audiobook.

P.S. don't skip the author's notes/credits after the book
