I really enjoyed this book, especially after just watching the movie for the first time in years. I liked how the book brought in much more of the 'small-town' elements of the plot, while the movie focuses more on the hunt for the shark.

Yllätyin miten paljon tykkäsin kirjasta! Tappajahai oli hyvin punottu jännäri, joka seuraa kaupungin ihmisten elämää keskellä haihyökkäysten sarjaa.

Simply a terrible book. One of the few instances where the movie is far, far better than the book.

I feel like such a sham that I haven't read Jaws until now. Yo, do yourself a favor and give it a read. It was a great, easier read to break up my non-fiction/true crime binge I've been on. The story brings you in right from the start.

I wanted to give this 5 stars so much, but the waves of sexism was just too strong. If you take out all of that flotsam of nonsense it's a absolutely stunning book that has a fabulous splash of gore that I'm always there basking for.

I'd rather watch the movie.

This didn't live up to the hype. I found it quite boring.

I'm sorry to say that I was not impressed. I was hopping everyone would die, especially Ellen Brody. It's very rare that the movie surpasses the book, but that is the case with this novel.
