This is a spicy alien romance standalone novel. The spice level rates 3.5 and sets in around mid book. Our FMC is starting into her ‘new day new me’ phase of life with a fresh start on a new space station. She quickly meets our MMC an impressive alien starting a new chapter of his own. These MCs struggle with insecurities and misguided assumptions as they navigate life. Knowing what happens when you assume, the reader get to enjoy how they work through misunderstandings and cultural differences.

A fun quick read with a-lot of cute banter, well developed characters and hot scenarios. I loved how relatable the friendships are even set in alien beings. I’m not always a fan of the miscommunication trope, and it is at the heart of this book. If you’re a romance reader looking for an enjoyable story in a new world with lots of different aliens, dating struggles, and romance with some bdsm mixed in this is the book for you!

I liked it! Very good, cute, steamy read. It was definitely trying to be a slow burn but wasn’t great considering they said they love each other like 5 seconds in to knowing each other. First alien romance so that was fun! Wish it was freakier Lmaoo I expected slight more freak considering ~alien~ but yea a good read!

This was such a cute introduction to Emily Antoinette!

Space for Love follows Maerlon and Fina as the navigate new love in the wake of mistaken identity. If you’re new to alien romance and want something with more romance then spice you will love this. Fina and Maerlon are two very insecure characters that come together and reassure one another through all of their cultural misunderstandings. It’s miscommunication done right and a slow burn that doesn’t leave you dry at all 🫠 I also had a good time with the side characters so I know Mezli’s book is going to be a good time!
