I love this series. The first book is definitely one of my favourites of the year. I really loved getting to know London more and the relationship in this one is so good! I love Jackson Holt he is such a cool character and I really enjoyed their whole dynamic.

I will say that I didn't love this one as much as the first. I feel like it painted Avery in such a bad way whereas the first book painted London in a bad way, so I was just kind of left confused a bit. I wish there was more tension resolved between the sisters. I feel like we kind of regressed on that front after the first book.

Thank you to Helena Hunting, St. Martin’s Griffin and NetGalley for the advance reader copy of Starry-Eyed Love, the second story in the Spark House series.

I cannot wait to return to Spark House, after very much enjoying When Sparks Fly. Now it is time for another Spark sister to fall in love.

I am a member of Helena Hunting’s review team, but I stand by my reviews remaining honest and true.

I loved the first book in this series and liked this one. It's sweet, entertaining but a bit repetitive at times.
I liked the fleshed out characters, rooted for them, and the setting.
Recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC, all opinions are mine

I didn't love London's character in Spark House book 1 but I decided to give this story a try because I really did adore her sisters and the life they'd created and the bond they shared. I found London to be so much more tollerable in Starry-Eyed Love, really growing on me over the course of the read. I found the slow burn romance between her and the MMC to be quite believable and super sweet. They clearly had chemistry and were trying their hardest to hold back while they maintained a professional relationship. His CEO status and bazillion dollar empire never really effected their authentic feelings for one another, which I appreciated.

The deep dive into the innerworkings of Spark House gave a greater understanding of exactly how much pressure the 3 sisters were under and I quite liked it when things finally boiled over and feelings were hurt. Harley and London had let Avery run the show and walk all over them for too long! It was nice to see them finally stand up for what THEY needed/wanted!

The plot twist was a little weak and the 3rd act break up was pretty ridiculous. But I did love the fact that for once, it really wasnt either MC who had to do some groveling (no spoilers, sorry!). The end of the book redeemed itself and I was so happy for a HEA. Now lets get to Harley's story because I cannot wait to see her get her HEA!

I won this book from a goodreads giveaway. I do really enjoy Helena Huntings books, especially the Pucked, All In, and the Clipped sings series.
This story starts out with London out with her sisters turning down a date from a hot guy at a bar. Fast forward she finds out he’s a potential business partner and she’s left feeling awkward and concerned that he will sabotage her business dealings.
Jackson is not typically interested in women but when he meets London, things begin to change.
As their business ventures start to get tangled they have to figure out the lines between business and pleasure and navigate friends and family and relationships.
Easy to read enjoyable book. I didn’t read the first book in this series and didn’t feel like anything was missing.

I love London. She is the business side of the Spark House that she owns and runs with her sisters, however, that isn’t her dream. London is also extremely creative and crafty and you can feel the passion she has for creating. Jackson is a millionaire, but he is also pretty down to earth and doesn’t love to flaunt his wealth unless it is to help someone. London and Jackson cross paths shortly after a break up for London and she turns down Jackson. Neither of them thought their paths would cross again….

While this was a slow burn, I loved the build up. I love that you could feel the chemistry between London and Jackson and seeing them connect the more and more time they spent together and just got to talking about their lives. However, also the fact that they are working together kind of puts a damper on taking things further.

There were a lot of ups and downs when it came to London and Jackson and a whole lot of misunderstandings. You could feel the emotions and the pain that these two were feeling throughout the story and also the joy.

I love the bond that London has with her sisters, Avery and Harley. Besides their grandma they are all the family they have. They may not always see eye to eye, but they are protective of each other and will always be there for each other.

If you’re looking for a slow burn, workplace, rom com check this one out.
