These Nezha narrated shorts placed in key moments between Rin & Nezha are kind of heartwarming and heartbreaking simultaneously. We know she’s feeling so much for him. We know what he feels obligated by family and greater politics to do to her. I kind of wish each of these could have been interspersed throughout where they happen in the novels

A brief but good look into Nezha's thoughts. I enjoyed the writing style and prose as always. However, I thought this would cover his perspective of the third book and answer some of the questions I had from there, like how did he suddenly gain control of his powers or his relations with the Hesperians, so I was a bit disappointed that this was more of a prequel to those questions instead of the answers :(
