This just wasn't that cosy, fun read I was hoping for, sadly. I'd heard a lot of people say good things about it, but if I'm honest for over half of it, I was just bored.

Nothing made me yearn for our characters to get together, it didn't feel as witchy as I'd hoped and the 3rd person, multiple POV narrative took me completely out of the story, gave a disjointed feel to the story and stopped me caring about the characters.

This felt like a bad Netflix teen drama, it ended in the middle and then clumsily started again. The second ending was very cringe. Kinda wished they’d all died in the previous scene. Lots of potential for a proper plot and probably a terrible sequel!
