This book has left me with an overwhelming sense of purpose and justice. The statistics are mind-blowing, and large corporations need to adopt the Links managerial style in order to create a more inclusive, caring, and ethical capitalist economy.
My 4 years of studying Economics and Psychology degree were both brought to the test for this read, and I enjoyed every second of it. The work that CY does is admirable, and all other companies need to take note. An important and powerful community mission that we all must take on as our own.
The value of underdogs has yet to be globally recognised, and this book is one of the first steps.

Absolutely amazing, fascinating and uplifting. This is not just a business book, it's a solution to so many unjust problems in our society. Everything Gil writes makes so much sense and yet no one in the world is doing it. I seriously think it needs to be a compulsory read for everyone, plus the stories of the people are so amazing and made me cry and I need it to be made into a movie immediately.
BTW, I don't usually read business books and it was still an incredible read so someone please read it so I can talk about it with someone already
