I didn’t finish this, which is extremely rare for me. It was for a book club, but I’m 31. Reading about women who are retired at 60 (I could be wrong, but I don’t even think they made their own money- retired might not even apply) and unhappy about being able to afford to live in a fancy retirement home is just obnoxious, AND it rambled!

fantastic story of older women who meet touring a retirement village and instead of moving there move into a villa in Italy. Great prose as the narrator is a poet. Really enjoyed this one. Could be a great limited series

Really sweet book about taking life slowly, new adventures, taking a risk and making new friends.

It's like Blanche Devereaux wrote a book about papermaking. This book was a slog. If you're looking for thorough descriptions about Italian food, I suggest you pick up a cookbook instead.

This book could have been very good as some of the storylines had me invested in the characters and wanting to turn the page; however there were too many storylines and characters. The author also tends to over-describe the scenes, I found myself skimming some of the paragraphs.
