Broadbent has done it again… I had heard rave reviews about this book and world, but after The War of Lost Hearts trilogy, I didn’t think she could top it. This absolutely did. Please please read! I can’t wait for book two.

PSA: Raihn is pronounced Rain, author confirmed. (I wanted to know this going into it)

This books was fairly good. I'd say a solid ⭐⭐⭐⭐/5
I am already reaching for the next one because I want to see how the story continues.

I'd call this one a true enemies to lovers. It was fast paced with all the violence. I do wish there was a little more history on the Haij vs Rishan and why....? Especially with the Bloodborn Vamps.

My first real fantasy that I was properly invested in even if it took me 12 days to finish. I could still remember where I last left off everytime I picked it back up and that says a lot. Makes me a little less scared to dip into more fantasy ✨
