This book was no way on part with the first two books. I'm not disappointed, but it left me unsatisfied.

I really connected with Reese oddly enough but found Audrey just obnoxious for most of the book. I found the premise to be almost a bit too contrived for my taste, but I suppose there was no other real way to rip Audrey away from her work. Once we hit about the last quarter of the book though I began to really like Audrey and truly appreciated her actions when it came to Daphne.

The ending bit was meh for me. I just can't praise this one as much as I can the last two.

I liked this one more than the first one. I skipped the second one because I liked this ones plot more. About the read Beauty and the Billionaire and hot damn, it better be good.

Oh god I love this series. I really, really do. It makes me think I'm a prude with all the blushing I do (how I still blush when I read kink books all the time is beyond me) but it was just so great. The passion is just full on all the time and I really felt that which I think is why I blushed 70% of the book. There's fun and angst and heartbreaking scenes and it's just written really well.

I wasn't bored at any point, I couldn't put it down and it's not a particularly long read at all. I'm glad these tackle such vastly different personalities and tragedies etc because each book feels completely individual to the others. I also feel that with the slight info given it wouldn't ruin it to read them out of order or to skip a book or two because they all so far have filled me in well without blabbing their whole story which is something I hate in a series.

Loved the sister and was crushed for her with how harsh the heroine was but also understand it (being the hospital demands not the angry outburst before shit went down as I cannot excuse her for doing that to someone that fragile, angry or not) and I'm crushed for Cade and I'm just super eager to continue!

Started pretty strong but after a while it became predictable and somewhat boring. Towards the end I was already skimming through some passages to get through the dialogue. Still a very entertaining read! I really like the author’s style so I’m considering reading the rest of the series.

Reese is out for a weekend at his friend Cade’s cabin. Hoping to relax and maybe make a few business deals but nothing particularly special. In walks Audrey, his friend Logan’s assistant, with her twin, pop star Daphne to ruin his quiet, solitary vacation. The twins are almost a lesson in opposites. Audrey is quiet, calm, and buttoned up...complete with the boring clothes and a bun. Her twin Daphne has bright hair, a loud personality, and a rather rampant drug problem she is trying to overcome.

Reese should be drawn to sexy Daphne but he finds himself intrigued by Audrey. She seems to reserved but around him her claws come out. Quick witted and not afraid to speak her mind, Audrey has been in love with Cade most of her life. When she comes to the realization that her childhood crush doesn’t share her feelings, she starts to see Sexy Reese in a different light.

I am a huge fan of Jessica Clare’s book and have absolutely loved this series all the way through. Its so much fun and this book is no exception. Reese was such a great character, fun loving, hilarious, smart, and above all, actually interested in Audrey for her personality and wit. Audrey has been featured in the previous two books but finally has a chance to shine. Let us rejoice in a smart heroine being liked for her intelligence instead of her waist size!!

In the third book of the series we have Ms Goody Two Shoes Audrey Petty has heroine and super playboy Reese Durham, an almost billionaire. We first met Audrey in the first book as Logan's always efficient and prim assistant. Her sister is famous singer Daphne Petty and at the end of the second nook she's reached rock bottom with her drug abuse. Audrey has decided to help Daphne by bringing her to their childhood friend Cade's lodge in the woods. Audrey since childhood has always harbored a crush and love for Cade but has never done anything about it. She's decided that hopefully by spending alone time with him in the lodge she'll be able to show her affections and finally win him over. But she doesn't count on walking in on Reese naked with a strange blonde woman in the hot tub.

Reese can't really recall Audrey from their past meetings since she's not his type both physically and personality wise. But he loves a challenge and he sees one in her as she rebuffs his every advance. He decides to stay at the cabin and try to needle his way into her bed. He likes seeing how she's so prim and uptight yet his teasing brings out a whole other side to her. He initiates a dare that takes them to a whole other level of steamy no strings attached sex.

I really enjoyed the first book of the series I thought it was fun and flirty. Unfortunately I wasn't really into this one. I think it was the set up. For most of the book Audrey holds the love torch for Cade. She hero worships and comments how right and perfect he is. And after a while it's repetitive. She goes from being the very responsible twin to being this wildcat sexpot. She decides to use Reese for sex while they are vacationing together since he's a playboy and won't want a commitment. But this is never spoken about. Neither of them explicitly say they'll have a no strings attached deal for the duration of their stay. And while Reese knows Audrey's feelings for Cade he still goes there because he'll get some. At what point did Reese fall for her? I think there was so much Cade loving that it killed the mood for me.

And Daphne. She was a big part of the story yet she was put on the back burner. The whole reason for the vacation was so that she could detox and we get a few scenes of that. But after a while Audrey leaves a lot of the care taking to Cade while she's with Reese. And while she does feel guilty about it, but then it's suddenly becomes about Reese. In a way I think it would of been better had the plot not centered around Daphne. She's sort of used as a plot device but it doesn't go anywhere. Audrey is supposed to transform from a girl who thought she was in love with someone else, molded herself to what she thought he would like, but found herself limited until she met Reese. And that sort of happened.

I don't know. Unlike the first book where the plot moved along and progressed to the climax this one was a bit boring and without a deeper plot. I find it strange too that Audrey is the one who ties the Petty sisters to all the billionaires yet they hardly know one another. In the first book Bronte is new to the billionaires so she doesn't know anything personal but I find it odd that in all the years Audrey has known Cade she and her sisters rarely interacted with the billionaires.

So this one was a dud in my book. The sex scenes were steamy as usual and really hot but the lack of a plot and repetitive Cade worship was too much.

SpoilerA bit irksome was that after Reese and Audrey have unprotected sex she says she'll go on the pill. Both of them clearly do not want a child yet so why didn't the author write in that she'll take the morning after pill? Audrey does end up pregnant after not taking the pill on time. I don't know a couple even though declarations are made after 4 months already having a child? Yeah I don't know about that.

I am looking forward to the next book as the heroine is a brand new character. I think for some reason having a brand new character will be better to the story.

So far my preference for the books in the series: 1) stranded with a billionaire 2) beauty and the billionaire and 3) the wrong billionaire's bed

Charaktere: 3,5
Idee: 3,5
Schreibstil: 4,0

I read The Wrong Billionaire's Bed a couple weeks ago when I decided to binge the entire Billionaire Boys Club series. It's the third book in the series and definitely one of my favorites. (Though, let's be real... I enjoyed each and every one of them.)

When I started The Wrong Billionaire's Bed, I wasn't sure how it was all going to flow for me. I'd been introduced to all the players at this point and I knew Audrey had it bad for Cade. I suspected Cade had eyes only for Audrey's (evil) twin Daphne, but I wasn't sure. I didn't know if I'd still be wishing for an Audrey/Cade pairing once the book got started or if I'd be firmly in the Audrey/Reese camp. I just went in with an open mind and waited to see what happened.

I liked Audrey from when I'd seen her in the earlier books, but I really connected with her in this book. Who hasn't been the victim of an unrequited crush at some point in their lives? I got her and could relate to her storyline with Cade. Her relationship with her sister and the devotion she had to her was a completely different story though. I didn't like Daphne. At all. (Still don't after finishing the series.) She was manipulative and took advantage of the people who loved her. Audrey would've done anything for her sister and Daphne didn't give a damn. I know she's her sister, but I wish Audrey had, for lack of a better way to say it, "grew a pair" a little earlier when it came to Daphne.

If I'm being totally honest, Reese didn't win any points with me in the very beginning. Thankfully it didn't take long before I was singing his praises. There were definitely things about his player ways that I didn't like so much, but there was a whole lot more to him underneath. He was a good guy, even if he made some questionable decisions. I LOVED him with Audrey. They pushed each other's buttons and their banter was brilliant. They had intense chemistry and some seriously scorching hot scenes together. Cade definitely faded into the background when they were together. I barely thought about him or Daphne because Audrey and Reese were the stars of this book. I couldn't put it down once I started reading because I was so invested in them and their story.

The Wrong Billionaire's Bed was a fantastic read. It was funny, sweet and HOT. I think I've said it in my review for the other two books in this series, but I'm going to say it again... if you're a romance reader and you're NOT reading this series, you're missing out.

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an honest review.

While I loved the first two books in this series, I just couldn't not get into this one. I didn't even finish the book.
