I loved this book so much it was so fun to read and I enjoyed it immensely. The plot twists were well written this book made me smile and laugh it was just fun. I enjoyed the characters and how they interacted their relationships were so good. I loved the little romance that went on and how it didn't take over the whole book.

Ugggggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh against my better judgement I read this book after saying I wasn’t going to and now I’m saying I’m not gonna read the next one but we all know what happened last time so we’ll see.

Here are some thoughts in no particular order:
I HATE David. He is an annoying self centered ass who is obviously going through a lot but he is taking it out on Stevie in a way she does not deserve. It’s like he’s making an effort to not see her perspective and then needs to punish her for his warped view of the situation. If I was being extremely generous (which I don’t think he deserves) he is a really fucked up kid making decisions he doesn’t realize will harm him in the long run and taking out his anger on those around him and those around him basically boils down to just Stevie and his father.

Stevie also needs to start being a better friend to those around her or she will not have friends anymore. I don’t think she thanked Janell once in this whole book even though Janell continues to go out of her way to help Stevie all the time!!!

Big fan of Mudge! I think he’s super cool!

VERY NICE SEQUEL. I was very happy with the continuation with the story from the first book, and they blended together well. I was missing the energy from the first a little bit, but it didn't disappoint at the end. Thank you again Halle for recommending the first book.

For Journal: Combine with Truly Devious, five consecutive pages for the series, odd page a general review of the stories. Red, rest similar to the Truly Devious page.

I do love this series and everything is tying together so well. I love the characters and the MYSTERY IS COMING TOGETHER!

The only thing I will say is I feel this trilogy so far could at least have been pulled into one or two books, if everything was condensed a little more. That’s not a huge deal though because hey more content!

It was so great to find this second book in the series still held it’s own in terms of excitement and captivation! You definitely cannot read it as a stand-alone story without cause for confusion, as the plot picks up within merely a matter of weeks from the timeline of the first book’s ending. But if you do read Book One, I think you’ll be glad you stuck around for Book Two!! Happy sleuthing!
