This was really puzzling, but good in a weird sort of way. It made me laugh!

It’s of my favourite films so I thought I’d read the play. Jimmy Stewart is the gap to 5 stars.

this play should be called “maybe if we listened to women we wouldn’t have this problem”

I LOVE Harvey. Honestly, I’m starting to think I just like stories about schizophrenics and the like. (Beautiful Mind, Shutter Island...)

But Harvey is real, I’m certain of it. Humor, healing, family, reparation, and great friendship. A wealthy drunk, strange visions, transformed life.

Harvey is a charming, funny story about a kind man who has a six foot rabbit for a friend. A person you would enjoy having a drink with, even if you’re a nondrinker. Elwood has the ability to find a friend in each person he meets, and even though he is considered to be insane, has realized that life is simply about finding happiness.

this was pretty brilliant wow. sure there’s deeper meaning here but really it’s just a hilarious story about a man who completely misses the absurdity of his life. loved

can you believe i learnt of this play’s existence because of the throwaway “duck, harvey” joke lorelai makes in an episode of gilmore girls

i loved this!! my fear with comedies is that i won’t actually laugh but i did and multiple times. the characters were very endearing and i just had a great time tbh. it definitely has multiple levels to look at but even on its most basic surface level it works so well

excited to watch the film!!
