I had to read this book for my swedish course. The book it self was relatively short but in the long run boring and because of the old-Swedish it was a bit difficult to follow sometimes, so I had to look up certain words to understand, even though i’m Swedish. But I would still say that it is a pretty good book for being written in 1839 and considering what the author brings up in the book, so it were pretty controversial to write about in 19th century Sweden. With that said, I enjoyed reading it to extent, even though it didn’t really fall into my taste in books.
