The story of a jedi seeking revenge and pushing through everything paired with Malgus and his growing frustration with the Empire was really fun interplay. Aryn and Zeerid have a great connection to each other, and they balance one another well. It gave a lot of great insight into several aspects of the universe.

From the first to its last page, this novel is highly entertaining - especially, but certainly not only if you know and enjoy the MMORPG. A classical revenge story, fairly predictable but also not. Lots of adventures you haven't quite seen like this yet, and characters that are nice for a little story. This is a must-read for an MMO player, a could-read for a Star Wars fan.

It's not written beautifully, but it gets the job done. I personally loved the detailed description of action, others may be put off by it. I don't have much to say about this one. Good fun, and a bit interesting. Cheerio. :b

I really enjoyed this book. The author does a good job of establishing what matters to each of the 3 main characters in a believable and engaging way. I ended up liking all of them for different reasons.
Once again it's good to see jedi who are flawed beings, and it's good to see jedi question the teachings. In this case as well it's really good to see a sith doing something very similar.
While this is obviously a book written for a video game it doesn't feel like it is. The story was satisfying and came to its own conclusions while also leaving room for growth (presumably in the old republic game).
