eh, 2.5 stars I guess...I really like Greg Behrendt though...no new info here but can be reaffirming to hear.

It's witty and chatty but oddly empowering too? It's a no nonsense approach to what, really, should be the fundamentals of working relationships be it romantic or platonic.

This read like a Dear Abby book, which disappointed me. I was hoping for a story similar to the Sex & the City episode it was based on or the movie that has the same title.

This was funny and have a lot of good advice with some kind of tough love sprinkled in there! Skipped the last 30 minutes of the audiobook because it sounds so repetitive already but I get the reason. Some readers really need to bonk the "he's just not that into you" card on their head more haha.

Suffice it to say, this just validated me in the sense that my partner is definitely into me hahahaha. It was a fun read, but I wouldn't turn to it as a relationship bible.

Greg keeps on saying that "I'm a guy, I know what it's like!" yes, but some of the undertones are just pretty dated. For one, it emphasizes that women should not pursue men in the early stages at all. And honestly? Fuck that hahahahahah.

Basically, this book can be summarized into the phrase "if he wanted to, he would". Which is great! I loved listening to the audiobook and it sure was funny. But again, not the end-all, be -all relationship bible!!! Just wanted to emphasize that hahaha.

P.S.: I do find this helpful in helping my girl friends out of shitty relationships so there's that!

Okay so I loved this book. I wasn't reading it because it's a self help book, I was reading it because I absolutely love the movie. However, it gives some pretty sound advice. I don't agree with 100% of the advice but I do with a lot of it. I'm guilty of several situations in the book, so reading those situations hit hard. It's a hilarious read as well as helpful, I certainly suggest it.

i thought this book was full of shit. then i kind of realized that maybe it's not that he's just not that into you and maybe it's more that he's just an asshole with no manners.

Forgot that I read this all those years back. I wish I'd read it earlier, for me, and for a bunch of other people in my life.
