I'm torn between continuing reading or stopping. I like the manga story, but the opinions the mangaka spouts makes me feel like she really looks down on single women, or a specific type of women, or just women in general and it makes me feel so uncomfortable. I'll maybe try one other volume or chapter...

Key is truly the most insufferable love interest I have ever read. He is a judgmental 22 year old and I have no idea why the 30 something year old women in this series fall apart when he insults them. I love this series, but it is incredibly grating when he pops up EVERYWHERE (even with Kaori in this volume) and judges their behavior and choices, acting as a catalyst for them to question their entire lives. Perhaps it’s a cultural disconnect, but I hate reading about him and can’t stand his interactions with the main cast. I wish they could come to self-realization without him harshly berating them every five seconds. I don’t want the ice around him to melt; I just want him to go away.

It was alright. I read it at a busy and hectic time in my personal life and it didn’t grip me enough to read in a one sitting or a couple of days, which is generally why I love to read manga outside the stories and art styles. I do think I’ll like the remaining volumes of the series when I’m in the mood for the series.

this was okay but when key showed up at the end i was temporarily possessed by the spirit of regina george wanting to aggressively demand why he's so obsessed with rinko. it's too bad rinko won't channel that energy!
