Just not my vibe, it all felt wrong and young and some of the stuff they were saying was just simply not true and wouldn’t happen in real life. Overall a weird book for me.

A little too “meet cute” for me, but a fun read nonetheless. Probably better suited to a beach holiday than a dreary fall week in Ladner.

A surprisingly enjoyable read about what would be (to me at least!) a nightmare scenario - a one-night stand resulting in pregnancy. While a bit crude in places for my taste, it's a fun and easy read. I enjoyed the book more for its familiar London setting and various pot-shots at the upper classes than I did the characters, who I couldn't get 100 per cent on board with. I also didn't think there was much chemistry between the hero and heroine. But it's a book that's clearly working hard not to be a cliche, and to show that families and love can come in all kinds of unexpected and different shaped packages, and for that it's worthy of three stars. With thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC.

This was a super cute, lighthearted read. It gave off Sophie Kinsella vibes just not quite as silly.

Well I’ve been meaning to read this for months but I always seemed to talk myself out of starting it. Then finally I just dove in. Well I’m really glad I did. It grabbed me right off. It slowed down a bit at about a quarter in but then picked right back up to the point I almost couldn’t put it down. Super funny with some great steam (but not too much). It felt real and heartfelt, I even cried a couple of times. Recommend!
