I enjoyed the characters and their development through the book. It was twisty at the end and I liked how the plot thickened and was eventually revealed. It took me almost two months to finish the book, I was never wasn’t wrapped up in the story like I am with a book I would rate higher.

The setup: a group of individuals all stumble across each other's paths but they are all secretly connected. Jess is a mother whose son has been killed; there's an old woman who can speak to ghosts; there's a young girl seeking a family; there's a cop figure struggling with addiction; and... there's the reader that has to believe this setup. While I am all for suspending reality and getting caught up in stories where everyone is connected by a single event... that has to be written very, very well to work. This story tries but falls short. Lots of loose ends (the kind that bother me) and lots of questions that are left that very well could have been answered. It was a decent audio/read from Kindle Unlimited but definitely was not something I fell in love with.

Well written, great pace, characters you instantly love, and twists and turns all the way to the end. Easy read, easy to follow, but the depth of the characters are so well written that they'll remain friends in my mind for a very long time.

I really enjoyed this book and for once, didn't figure out the ending by the 2nd chapter.

This was a free Kindle first-read and it was AMAZING. It drew me in right away, and I couldn't put it down. If I stay up late, I know it's a good one!

The writing, especially the character development, was well done. But it was the storyline that really captivated me. I appreciated the vivid descriptions and storytelling.

I think I got this as an Amazon first reads book. Finally got around to reading it picking it for the description over others that have also been waiting. I'm glad I picked this up. It was a quick read, but a nice tale.

Oh my heart.

This was such an amazing read. Thriller with a touch of fantasy. The story tugged at my heart strings more times than once!

I loved that it bounced between two characters. But didn’t make it confusing. All of the characters were well thought out and you could imagine how they were.

The end made me cry. My heart felt so many different types of emotions. Happiness, sadness, relief and my heart warming from how it all came to an end!

Would recommend!
