Thought it could have been a lot more than it was. The revelations throughout the book were kind of letdowns for me, and the ending left more to be desired.

Pretty good, although the twists added in the end make the tale a little confusing. The ending also seemed rushed - you to the climax of the story and then there's the epilogue and the end.

This book was like a see-saw to me. Back and forth, up and down. At first it was boring and confusing. Then it sucked me in and I thought it was great. Then back to boring and drawn-out, then exciting, then implausible, and then...the end.

The mystery was pretty solid and could have been fantastic with different characters. Parts of the plot were not necessary or even cohesive, but the idea and setting were interesting. My main beef with this book were the characters. No one was particularly likable and I found myself with no one to root for, no one to care for, and this is a problem when you should be emotionally tied to the main characters and hoping they live. Overall I was let down and while the ending was intriguing it didn't make up for the rest of the plot. More like 2 3/4 stars, but I'll give it a 3 because of the ending.

Oh my goodness...this e-book was excellent!! Gregg Olsen just had a way of drawing me in and keeping me hooked. The book is divided into 3 parts, the first being current day, with a little bit of the past thrown in but just enough to have you asking what in the world went down all those years ago to traumatize Hannah so much. The second part goes in the past and fills in the blanks from part one plus some (alright a lot). The final part goes back to current day and how the story had progressed from part one. I will admit the first couple chapters were kinda blah but after that it was full throttle. The character I enjoyed the most was actually Special Agent Bauer. I loved how after all those years he still had a special place in his heart for Hannah and never gave up on Hannah or the case. So many times I just wished I could slap the crap out of Hannah's mother...especially towards the end. There were plenty of surprises in the final part of the book that I really enjoyed and was kind of disappointed when I got to the last page. The way this book ended I kept thinking how awesome it would be if Mr. Olsen wrote a sequel. Highly recommend this one!

Maybe 3.5 but I definitely level up with this one.
A Wicked Snow should be made into one of those Netflix limited series. Six episodes easy, get Kiefer Sutherland to play agent Bauer because that is how he is described in the book, Elisabeth Moss would be great as Hannah, people would finish it in a weekend or if you're like me knock it out Friday night and Saturday morning.
This is a super quick read, lots of twist and turns, some not totally necessary but kept me entertained.
