I have always known of Pippy Longstocking, but had never read the book or known anything about her beyond the hair. My kids and I completely loved this book. I was pleasantly surprised by how funny, ridiculous and eccentric she is. No wonder it's a classic!

I kind of liked it as a kid, and I kind of liked it as an adult. But as an adult, I couldn't stand the passive nature of all the adults in the book. Pippi does something outrageous, and the adults just shrug and look the other way. For example, the teacher didn't try to teach her anything, she just gave up and tried a different activity again and again, not once correcting her or you know, actually teach her anything.

Jeg måste ha min lyckodag i dag också.

A.C.A.B Herangehensweise.
