This book blew my mind and gave me such a comforting feeling that I haven't experienced in so long.
Those descriptions of everyday activities and hobbies made me feel right at home.

The characters were absolutely amazing, and the way they spilled their thoughts, emotions, histories, and fears made them feel like real human beings.

The different types of love explored in the book were simply beautiful. They all tangled together, evolving and surviving through the challenges of life.

I loved the inside jokes and the bursts of inspiration while they created video games. It even sparked my curiosity about video games as a new form of art.

I also absolutely loved how the story was told. It flowed so naturally, and I could easily kept up with the timeline shifts.

Amazing book, definitely never read a love story like this one before.

Tomorrow, Tomorrow, and Tomorrow is a treasure of a book about love, play, work, and pain. Zevin took on an ambitious project of writing a novel with several resounding themes and made magic with each. The book has straightforward writing that knocks you down with wisdom dispersed to Sam and Sadie by their loved ones and their own long-awaited revelations. I don't think I've ever read another story that truly captures the feeling of being saved by a friend and knowing there is no language to ever describe how deeply you love them. Sam and Sadie's ties to one another ring throughout the novel, even in moments when their problems seem impossible to overcome. They act selfishly, they disrespect the inner worlds and pains of one another, and yet they share a friendship that washed over them like a wave and refuses to release them. I fell in love with these characters, despite their many flaws, and looked forward to returning to them whenever I opened the book.

Additionally, it is incredibly meaningful for me to have read a book that discusses chronic pain with raw honesty and understanding that it is a constant and varied hurt that requires a lifetime of adaptions and invisible fortitude. To think that so many people are reading a book that displays the reality of chronic pain is very heartening to me. I don't doubt that this is a book I will read again in the future. I highly recommend it to those who appreciate character-driven stories.

This book broke me in the best way possible. I wanted to throw the whole thing away when I finished it, which I think is the symbol of a great novel. The author does a magnificent job of writing characters that feel so close to human. The story was magnificently written and truly makes you think about love, life and loss. A great read.

This book was a five-star read, up
Spoiler until Sam tried to convince Sadie to come back to work after Marx (the best character in the book) died. The story hits a low-point for me then, up until Sadie and Sam reunite at Bong Cha's funeral.
The video game chapter was disorienting, and Sadie had hit peak levels of insufferability. The main characters were nuanced, flawed (to the point of being unlikeable on a few occasions), and well-developed, but I often found their issues with each other to be based on a lack of communication. Overall I found the book to be well-written, engaging, and charming, with a few faults. I still recommend this for gamers and lovers of coming-of-age stories. Please note there is some triggering content related to gun violence, homophobia, car accidents, mental illness, and medical content.
