**I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.**

Morgan is starting his life over after leaving and divorcing an abusive husband. It's the first time he's been on his own. The apartment he rents is a definitely a downsize from the spacious place he shared with his ex-husband but Morgan doesn't care. He wants to prove he can do it on his own. Morgan's little mishaps draw the attention of the moody super and owner, Leo. Leo is an extremely private person carrying his own baggage but when an unlikely friendship plus starts Leo and Morgan can't help but depend on each other.

I enjoyed this read and was invested in the characters and their path. Watching Leo and Morgan grow and open up to each other made for a sweet read. Highly recommend.

This book was really great. One I love enemies to lovers story, and I love story with real struggles that people can relate to, this book cover both of that. The plot of it gives me so many emotions and thought. I was kind of surprise through the end with what happened. This book will get you in many ways. I love Morgan for his bravery, determination, and let's be honest is clumsiness. For Leo it's is grumpiness, and stubbornness that just a facade. I love that they just couldn't help to piss each other off.

Excellent story with some real matters in some people life you will not regret reading this book.

3.5-4 stars

well this was an unexpected surprise. i think Kale Williams really helped make this book better, his narrations were amazing.

i think that Morgan and Leo at the beginning had a little too much push pull in the relationship since Leo was so hot and cold. Luckily Leo got his head out of his ass and started being more hot haha. There is definitely a trigger for abusive relationships (parental and spousal, and it will be both verbal and physical abuse), i thought it was done in a way were it wasn't too much but you felt for the characters and were happy that they had each other to lean on.

I think like previous Felice Steven's books i have read there was some missing parts that i can't quite put my finger on but i think there was something missing from making this a 4.5-5 star read.

But this is one of the better Felice Steven's books i have read, i am excited to read more of her books this year!

Wow. What an amazing book! Felice did it again and wrote another phenomenal story. Morgan & Leo have both been through so much and somehow find their way to each other. I love how it takes a while to break down their walls and how they learn to lean on each other. I feel it's also important that Felice showed that abuse doesn't just happen to women.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily gave my honest review.

Wasn't bad, but I was bored.

And it felt unrealistic.

Meh to this one. I liked the premise but I could not get into these characters.
