Excellent book on the centrality of the church in evangelism — not only concerning the role individual members play in the church's mission but also how to encourage a whole culture of evangelism among a congregation! Contains a lot of good insights, both theologically and practically, as well as encouragement from the author's own experiences sharing our faith with others.

This was ok. I don't know of anything in this book that wasn't already covered in Packer's book on evangelism which would have said it better anyway. The most important aspect of this book was the 11 ways in which a church can creat a culture of evangelism within their four walls. Stiles reminds us that evangelism begins and is upheld by the local church body and in order to pursue this biblical mandate, we must stop seeing it as purely an individual duty and moreso a corporate duty.

A comprehensive guide that redefines the essence of sharing the gospel. This book is an absolute gem, offering a refreshing perspective on evangelism that is both practical and deeply rooted in biblical principles. Stiles' approach dismantles the misconceptions and fears surrounding evangelism, presenting it as a natural overflow of a transformed life rather than a daunting task. His insights are not just theoretical; they are highly actionable, providing readers with practical tools and strategies to confidently engage in sharing their faith. What makes this book stand out to me is its emphasis on relationships and genuine care for people. Stiles focuses on building meaningful connections and conversations rather than mere conversions, making evangelism an authentic expression of love and compassion.

Evangelism as a discipline... I've never thought about it that way but I'm eager to continue to explore what that may look like in my life.

Simple, short and moving. I was way more encouraged by this book than I thought I would be.
