I really enjoyed "Dreamology" and it would have earned five stars of not for the fact that it started out a little slow and it took me awhile to get into. The story is fresh and unique. In the book we find Alice facing a move away from her friends back to her grandmother's house in the Boston area. And with a new town Alice also gets a new school where she comes face to face with the boy of her dreams. Literally. Alice had been dreaming of Max since she was a child. What follows it laugh out loud funny, insanely creative and sometimes heart wrenching. A really great read.

(4.5*) This is such a cute book. I loved the writing style very much, it was a light fun read "Just what I needed for now"
The element of magic was compelling and again so cute, but I would've liked a different ending. Don't get me wrong the ending was fine but if it ended differently I would've been okay with that. If you're looking for a YA cute, fluffy & magical contemporary I highly recommend this.

Sweet, dreamlike and likeable, this book is as pleasant as the protagonist, Alice Rowe. Alice spent most of her nights dreaming about a boy she has never met, Max. Imagine her surprise when he suddenly appears in front of her in her new school, and he seems to recognise her as well. It may sound absurd, but the study on dreams and neurology is what makes this a pleasant read. Alice is the kind of character with enough wit and spirit that makes the story colourful. The basis of Alice's childhood nightmares is painful, and the loss she faced should have been further explored, in my opinion. It is still a rather enjoyable read, though

This was a super sweet, super romantic read. The magical twists and dreams were so fun and gave the whole story a--ahem--dreamlike quality. So, so cute and fun.

I had mixed feelings with this book when I first started to read it, but near the end I ended up enjoying it quite a lot.
I mean, it didn't live up to my expectations because I was really exited to read this one because of the plot.
I love the cover btw.
I loved the concept it was created about both of them dreaming of each other because they were put in a clinic to help their nightmares and mixing their dreams comforted each other and made the nightmares stop.
I liked the main character, I thought she was cool, but there were times when the guy irritated me a bit.
I liked some of the lines and thoughts that were on the book, they looked very clever.
I also liked how their dreams were always so full of fantasy, like being in the clouds or eating on a museum having stairs made of food. It was cute.
I liked the relationship that she had with her dad, but it didn't sit well with me how her mom seemed not to care at all about her daughter or her husband and in the end it's sort of hinted that they are together again? I didn't like that.
I liked the ending though, how they ended up talking on the phone, the things they said, it was very very cute.
I'm curious to read something else by Lucy Keating
