A very sweet novel about the relationships between family and friends. I could relate to Sarah's dilemma about the job market and was happy with her eventual decision, as it's one that will make her happy. I have to admit, I know absolutely NOTHING about quilting, but have always found them beautiful. Due to that, I found those sections to be tricky to follow (though they were well written). I'm going to have to google some of the patterns mentioned in the book!

This was a light read, good for plane trips, car rides, etc. If you like crafting and storytelling, this book would be enjoyable. It kept me interested, but was something I could put down if I needed to do more important things. While I liked this book, I'm not compelled to read the rest of the series right now. I may pick up those books from the library later for reading on a long car ride.

I’m not a quilter or a crafty person by any stretch of the imagination so the descriptions of the quilting techniques and fabrics were tedious for me but the storyline was EXCELLENT.
