This was quite enjoyable. So much to unpack. I liked how the tone of the book gradually changed as it went on. The beginning was very depressing and hard to get through but it got better once the main couple started to actually interact. I liked how it centered on friendship, love, life, and family. I really enjoyed our couple in the book. I will not say who it was because I enjoyed kind of not knowing going in. This book is so much more than a romance. This deals with deep themes and emotions. This is great for people who always want something a little more than just a romance. The writing took a bit to get used to since the author is from Scotland. 

I really enjoyed the plot. I was curious where it was going and I enjoyed the story. I enjoyed seeing the different ways Eve, the main character, interacted with people and grew over the course of the book. I really enjoyed the aspect of the road trip. Those are always fun. This was a different read than I normally would have but I enjoyed and glad I read it. The ending gave it a one star higher rating. I would recommend but know going in it is not just a happy, fun romance but there is a happy ending.
