It started off ok...I even liked the first 30%. It had a mild Hunger Games feel (dare I say a happier hunger games). But, by the 50% Mark I was bored. And by the 75% Mark I put it down and never picked it back up. I read this book because it was all over book talk, and I was looking to branch out in different genres. This was a miss for me.

Half the plot of the book was just sickening flirting and the main characters lusting over each other. Book was easy to read but the plot was very predictable. Wouldn’t bother reading.

4.5 ⭐️ ending had me gagged. GAGGED!!!!!!! this book literally had every trope i love and every single one
managed to be GOOD and not like just shoved in there for the sake of having a trope. soooooo red queen x hunger games coded I LOVE IT

also morally gray love interest HELLO!!! i better see a certain someone GROVELING to paedyn in book 2. i can’t wait to see where this goes next.
