This one didn't hold my attention has much has the other books did but it was still fairly good. It showed A lot more of our main characters past which was great and how they mature with each other.

4.5♥s In this installment of Guild Hunter, Raphael's mother is awakening from Sleep, and no one knows if she's going to awaken insane or not. Elena is worried that her relationship with Raphael is taking a step backward as Raphael becomes more remote.

I love the mortal/immortal that Raphael has become.

Sometime I can get bored of the same couple in a series but Elena and Raphael always stay interesting. Really nails tortuous family dynamics

This series is never going to be one of my favourites because I don't really like Raphael all that much, but it is still a good solid read. Stronger plot than the last one.

I'm really starting to wonder what's wrong with me. Everybody seems to love this book (and the one before it), but me. This felt like a recycled version of book 2 to me. I did love book 1 though, so I'm hoping to like the next one....
