This was such a fun, witty, and adventurous read! It has all of the Bridgerton vibes, plus a cast of lovable characters who I was rooting for the whole time. I loved the slow burn, forbidden romance taking place between the main characters and I would highly recommend this one to readers who love historical fiction and a good romance.

A truly enjoyable book. Heath has a unparalleled command of the English language and her book are always full of witty and clever banter. This one was no exception. It was funny with a hint of angst that added depth to the characters. The little mystery around which the plot revolved was intriguing and the side characters such as Dalton and Vee were really a gorgeous addition. The two main characters were equally well rounded and easy to fall in love with. I’m waiting anxiously for the next book and the next Merriwell sister finding her HEA!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

The 2nd Merriwell Sisters installment is filled with Diana and Giles bickering, lots of intrigue, risky journalistic detective work - and banter. Big highlights of the book for me were the introduction of Giles' intriguingly named long-lost family members and all things Dalton and Olivia (each in their own awesome romance).

4/5 Stars and 2/5 for spice.

I enjoyed this book! I do feel like Diana’s change of heart happened a liiiiiittle quickly for what she seemed like on the beginning, but I still really liked her and Giles.

- after Hugh and Minerva, I was a little suspicious of Giles and Diana, but I was so wrong! This one exceeded my expectations!!
- I loved how Diana's role at the newspaper evolved, and it was so fun to have a sort of spy/mystery plot throughout!
- Getting to continue to see all the Merriwell sisters and their evolving found family was great. It wasn't enough to take too much attention away from Giles and Diana, but it was enough that I was so happy to see everyone (especially Hugh and Minerva) back on the page!
- Olivia and Vee's meddling was excellent, and it only continued to escalate in spectacular ways.
- After seeing his nonsense in book one, I was so excited to have Giles' pov! He lived up to his ridiculousness, and it was so so fun to see him and Diana banter and bicker.
