Not as good as the previous entries as there were some aspects that just had me rolling my eyes (the band performance for one). Allison seemed a bit more juvenile this time around, but fortunately it is still such a fun group of people to spend some time with that I enjoyed it.

All the books in this cozy mystery series are good. Usually I can tell who done it but this book surprised me. The part I like best is the series is told from innkeeper Alison Kerby's point of view but the author is a man, it amazes me every time just how good a writer E J Copperman is. Can't wait to read the next.

This is one of my favorite series. I love cozies and I love paranormal and this series is an excellent mixture of both. There's a single mom, Alison, and her daughter who own and run a guesthouse. There are two resident ghosts along with visiting ones. One resident ghost is a smarta** and the other is a private investigator who has Alison as his 'legs' since he can't leave the vicinity.
Alison has always been a rather reluctant investigator but this time she wants to take on the case and Paul, the ghost PI, does not. And seems to be casting aspersions in Alison's direction on her wisdom on taking it on and her ability to actually investigate. Conflict in the guesthouse.
It's interesting to watch the conflicts and resolutions and how the spirit world is portrayed. Alison also uses one of my favorite words "ostensibly" every once in a while. Makes me like her more.
This is a great entry into a fab series. I don't read or listen to them in any kind of order and it doesn't diminish my enjoyment.
I can definitely recommend this book, series and author.

Alison owns a guesthouse that she specifically advertises as haunted - complete with 2 ghost shows a day. One of her teenage idols floats in one day, begging her to help find his daughter's murderer. Problem is, no one is sure if she was murdered...
I'm sorry, I just love this series no matter how ridiculous it is. Lots of ghosts roaming around, with people that can see them and people that can't. This is totally a place that I would stay!

I enjoyed the plot of this one, and again some of the way the narrator said the story made me chuckle.
Only thing I’d say with this one is some of the British and Irish accents were a bit questionable but it was still fun to listen to.

First Thought when Finished: Ghost in the Wind was another fun entry into the Haunted Guesthouse Mystery!
Overall Thoughts: Alison took the lead in this particular case and it was fun to see her kind of on her own for a bit. Paul was a little mad and Maxie is well Maxie! I thought it was fun to throw in the added layer that the case was for a ghost of a teenage idol of Alison. Come on--we would all be like pick me, pick me! The case had a few twists and turns I didn't expect. The characters we all know and love are around and some new ones I hope stick around were introduced. All in all, I had fun and I think you would too!
Audio Thoughts
Amanda is perfect for these kind of audiobooks. She has sass and can handle characters that are quirky in nature. There were many accents that she pulled off too! Another great narration by Ronconi.
