It was ok. I think the letters seemed too unrealistic for me to get into the story, and then it just got more wacky and it was harder and harder for me to enjoy. I liked how different she was, but yeah overall wasn’t for me.

I enjoyed the concept of pen pals, and the “it’s always been you” trope, I just felt like the story was really drawn out. It could’ve been a little bit shorter, and I’d have loved for them to have spent more time working out the logistics of their relationship. But enjoyed it nonetheless.

DNF at 45%. It was the translation fault? Sure, a bit but it’s not only that. The premise of the book was really good, pen pals plus famous people?! I love that, in the first pages I was really captivated but then? Puff! It didn’t delivered… zero plot, stuff that I didn’t understand all of the sudden and a very very cringy read. They fall in love after what? Five letters between eachother? I don’t think so…

I really enjoyed myself reading this book.

The letters were such a nice medium to read in. I do enjoy a good letter style for a book, its something different and they always seem to be so good when done right.

The disability side was oh so frustrating but in a 'good' way. It gave her more depth and explained her character so much. She was frustrating when she pushed him away but understandable as I'm sure anyone with the same phobia would be able to agree with.

Their romance was built beautifully and I believed these two characters. I wanted more. The ending was so bitter sweet. I get why it was the way it was but I don't have to like it. Favourite for me so far this year.

Such a good and emotional and heart breaking, yet heart warming story. It's also a very sweet romance. While there are some humorous moments, this isn't a Rom Com. This is probably one of the most emotional books this writing duo has written... at least in recent years. The emotions you feel aren't just due to the romance and what goes on between the Hero and Heroine, but because of their personal struggles as well. Her's more so then his. He's a rock star who has no privacy and just wants to be left alone, and she's a anxiety ridden recluse that just wants to be free from her solitude. Their story started in the second grade but their lives really begin 20 years later. You will fall in love with these characters. If you're in need of a new book boyfriend, look no further. Griffin is perfection. Luca has some mental health issues that she is struggling to overcome, but even with those 'faults' she is a wonderful and strong woman. She tends to be the 'bad guy' in this story, but even when she was making the wrong choices, you knew her heart was kind and she was trying to be selfless in her actions, no matter how bad they hurt either of them. There isn't a lot of sexual content, mostly it's talked about between the characters, with minimal action played out. This is a beautiful and well written story that was hard to put down. You'll want to read it (at least the last 5-10 chapters or so) in private as there will be tears shed. It alternates between POVs.
