I enjoyed reading it, but it was not an easy audiobook to listen to. It would have been more engaging as a physical book

This is a brilliant biography on RBG. I was expecting more satire and was pleasantly surprised to find it to be a very detailed and informative biography on this amazing woman's life. You'll find excerpts of her decisions, with information explaining the legal jargon. There are photos of her and her family, photos of letters and documents of importance. I learned a lot and was entertained while doing so. Highly recommend this for everyone.

A beginner friendly book to get to know what it is all about RBG. What inspired me the most through reading it is the fact that in the early years, as great a woman as RBG, she was also meek and quiet, under then social circumstances. However, as she grew older and had better ideas what is important to her in life, she fought without fear of judgment. One misconception I had has always been that feminists, activists are born fighters. They always know what they want and what they are to fight for. It's a relief, as well as an inspiration, to see that you could grow into someone like that. You just need to make up your mind soon enough.

What can I say? This book made me happy and has something for everyone along the legal knowledge scale, ranging from infographics to annotated excerpts from Ruth Bader Ginsburg's opinions & dissents. It's chock full of family photos and funny illustrations. There is even a recipe.

Above all that, it's the story of a woman who was told "you can do it!" and "you can't do it" at the same time, and how she did it all anyway. You may not agree with her politics, but it's important to understand how difficult it was (is?) for a woman to ascend so high in a career.

I'm not one of those "every girl should read this book" but ... every girl should read this book.

This book was such a nice introduction into who RBG is. I have always heard about Ruth Bader Ginsburg, but being someone easily confused by politics and law, I have never really been interested enough to seek out more information about her. I really liked the way this book was layed out, giving us information about who RBG is as a person (i.e., early beginnings, marriage, children, education, style) while simultaneously walking us through her career and future plans. I really believe I got a great snapshot and increased my understanding about this bad-ass woman ten-fold. The only thing that got me frustrated with this book a bit were that at times, while I thought I understood what cases were about or where we were at in the chronological timeline of history, I found myself lost quite often. I started reading slower, but still got lost. This might just be that lack of political understanding/interest I mentioned earlier, but I have to acknowledge how it came out while reading this. Also, nit-picky, but the binding on this book is not the best, as pages were falling out as I read because of the stitching. Overall, this book is empowering for all that read it, informative about an awesome role model and historical figure, and is a great introduction into understanding RBG.
