This devotional is outstanding. I have nothing to put it down on than maybe the page designs. Every page is always so relevant to the day it is aimed at and can change my mood for the better in just one paragraph. With most things, reading every night is just not going to happen but it is so easy with this. The passages are very short & even if I don't feel like reading the reference links in my bible (which I know I should!) I can always read the passage.

Absolutely amazing. I feel like I need to go through it this year, too. Very rarely did I walk away from reading a day thinking, "well, that doesn't apply to my life". I always took away a message and something to think about.

Delightful! It is so nice to wake up to such inspirational words. This devotion is a great accompaniment for daily bible reading and devotions. Gives the reader that God given extra measure of strength to get through the day with Christ on you side. Our goal, to be more Christ like in our thoughts, actions and words! Simply inspirational! Loved this!

I found this in our house. I think one of my kids must have gotten it for a graduation present. It has been very encouraging to read this year. I believe that God has used this book to make a difference in my year by giving me just the right words that I needed to hear and perspectives that were different from my typical thinking.

Excellent for every day of the year, inspirational and good for the mind a great gift from my sister in law, Libby, as both of us have gone through losing a parent and gone through tough times with close friends .Not a book club book

it had good messages, but i didn’t feel like all of them spoke to me or were encouraging for the day ahead. i kept up reading them every morning until about a third of the way through the year when i just kind of got bored with them. i didn’t feel like it was the best book for a daily devotional/morning read for me personally.

This book is great! 2012 had a lot of difficult days for me, and this book was so often perfect for each of those days. I loved the encouragement I got each time I opened this book. I will definitely read it again.

My first devotional, given to me by my baptism mentor, during my first year in Christ. It was often creepily relevant and I've since bought her next devotional for this year.
