Thank you Penny Reid for moving this series into KU so I basically binge it a week. Reid writes wonderful nerdy outrageous characters. Janie is right behind Cletus(forever best guy in my heart) as one of my favorite characters from her. She's almost like a female Sheldon without being hateful and spiteful. Can't wait to read all the other books in the Knitting in the City series.

This book was so stinkin’ cute! I normally don’t go for books like this (rom-com types) but this book blew me away. The authenticity of the characters and the wittiness had me laughing out loud! I can’t wait to break up some of my heavier reading with more from this series and author and continue my growing attachment to these characters!

Too long. Needs editing.
The heroine didnt win me over. I was indifferent to her story and in the end, had to DNF.

This is the first book in the Knitting in the City series and an oh so cute look at Jane, an adorkably awkward accountant and architecture major who falls for a security guy. After she breaks up with her jerk of an ex, she moves in with a friend, and begins working for Quinn, who has a long list of secrets. This had a quite complex set of characters, including a doppelganger sister and a group of mobsters out for no good, and I completely loved watching Quinn and Janey slowly fall in love.

They say it is a smart romance. It is not. Just because the heroine wears glasses and knows trivia it does not make her smart.
