It was definitely enjoyable, which is all you can ask for with these types of books. I thought the characters were kind of annoying and it just wasn’t the best fantasy book I’ve read by far, but with that being said, I will try the others in hopes that it’s uphill from here, because I do see the potential.

The pace and excitement of this book grabbed my attention and kept it the whole time! This book got me out of a long reading slump. Reading it a second time, there were a few things that I picked up on that didn't quite make sense, but not enough to pull me out of the experience.
