Despite my self-bias toward mysticism and self-proclaimed "guru", I thought of giving this book a try: A rather disappointing decision. The author uses the word "dimension" to the level of repetition, such that readers/listeners can play a drinking game to take a sip at each utterance, and get quite drunk in mere few pages. I have read sci-fi books with authors describing higher dimensions with much more imagination than Mr. Jaggi. To play the devil's advocate, I can see traces of Nietzsche's philosophy in the text but, not concrete thoughts surrounding it. The author also describes"western" philosophers in terms of Kafka and Dostoyevsky, but again fails to form a concrete understanding of the same. To me when an author tries to hide behind jargon(s), it's a rather failed job to enrich the readers with knowledge or even excite any imagination. Overall a waste of time.

Basic but enjoyable. Could use a little more, uh, thought I feel.

I'm not sure what to think about this book... there were many gems that I was able to take from reading, but so much on the metaphysical that rather went over my head. I am glad I read it, even though at times it felt like I was slogging my way though. It did reinvigorate my yoga practice and love of the outdoors. I especially liked the idea to sit under a tree, leaning against the trunk, concentrating on your breathing and the exchange of air with the tree.

I think this maybe would have been better as a reference rather than reading all the way through? But honestly some of the advice was beautiful and I needed to hear it and otherwise a lot of what I'm sure was Great Wisdom was way over my head. 3/5 stars.

It was good but not what I was expecting. Some decent spiritual guidance and some which is effectively the same message given in other places which isn't so surprising.

Loved this reading piece. Explained in a lucid manner, the book is simply a page turner and opens your mind towards different aspects of life and ways to regulate your mind, body and energy. The book is not heavy so it will definitely help you understand about eastern philosophy clearly and develops that optimism you require during the hard times.

I listened to this two times in a row before marking it read. It's... Good.

Just really digs into Agency as sort of this tool we can use to go inward constantly, and then gives you tools to do so.

I wanted to finish this book and feel some sort of change in myself, but I didn't. It's well written and a good book overall, but it's not for everyone.
